Valley of a 1000 Devils
Located in Grasslands NP east block or half on hour west of Rockglen, Sk. This place is one of those most exciting places in all of Canada. A Park pass is required and can be purchased at the visitor center. To enter the park, you must drive down a grid road for about 15 minutes. It can also get very hot here in summer. I recommend using the AllTrails Pro App if you go here. This is a difficult 6km hike each way.
Great Sand Hills, SK
An active sand dune in a nature preserve. About half an hour south of Leader, SK, there are no services here and the road in is not all weather. Dunes are just a quick walk from parking lot and is about 2-3 kms walk to explore everything. Sand can be bad for your camera, be careful on windy days and don’t let fine sand get on your camera.
